TR-YÖS (Turkish Foreign Student Examination)

On 25/11/2021, the Higher Education Institution announced several decisions, including conducting the MYÖS Central Unified Exam in Turkey and abroad, which it named MYÖS, and canceling all YOS exams for all public and private universities.

It is worth mentioning that in 2010 the exam was unified; click here to watch the exam held in 2010.

In 2022, the Higher Education Council amended the previous MYÖS decision for students coming from outside Turkey, renaming the test TR-YÖS. According to this test, foreign students will be admitted to Turkish universities.

TR-YÖS Exam Details

• Number of questions: 80 (Mathematics + Engineering + IQ)
• Exam duration: 100 minutes
• Exam languages: Turkish, German, English, French, Russian, Arabic
• Exam score: 500 points
• Math score for each question: multiplied by 0.55
• IQ score for each question: multiplied by 0.45
