Yalova University is one of the Turkish public universities, located in the city of Yalova. It was established on May 31, 2008. The Yalova Vocational Training Institute, previously affiliated with Uludag University, is considered the cornerstone of its foundation. After Yalova became an independent province, the need for a university was identified, and in January 1996, the Yalova Endowment for Higher Education was established.

Despite its modernity, Yalova University is regarded as one of the most important universities in Turkey due to its reliance on advanced educational methods. The university also has a well-equipped library rich in knowledge and literature, numerous scientific journals, laboratories, and sports facilities.
