Van Yüzüncü Yıl University is a public university located in Van, eastern Turkey. It was established on July 20, 1982, and named in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey. The university has grown to become one of the prominent institutions in eastern Anatolia, playing a critical role in the region’s development by providing higher education and contributing to scientific research. The main campus is situated on the shores of Lake Van and includes faculties, vocational schools, research centers, dormitories, and sports facilities.
