Uludağ University, previously known as Bursa University, was founded in 1975 and is located in Bursa, Turkey. The university was renamed Uludağ University in 1982. It aims to educate students with respect for the national, cultural, and historical values of Turkey.
As of the 2010/2011 academic year, Uludağ University had approximately 4,500 students and around 2,200 academic staff members. The university consists of 13 faculties, 4 higher education institutes, 4 graduate institutes, 15 vocational schools, 5 departments affiliated with the university’s presidency, and 21 scientific and applied research centers.
