Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University

Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University was established by Law No. 27648 of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on June 21, 2010, and commenced its academic activities on November 3, 2011. The primary goal of the university was to develop a program that addresses contemporary issues and advances open-minded thinking, moving away from the closed-minded approach confined to specific geographic boundaries.

Although Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is a newly established university, it boasts academics with extensive and accumulated experience, most of whom worked at other universities before moving to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Despite Yıldırım Beyazıt's short tenure, the university currently boasts 915 academic professors, many of whom were recruited from Europe and prestigious universities in Türkiye.
